Yes, you read that right. The iPad Pro features Xbox One S Class graphics performance, in the iPad’s portable 5.9mm thin package. They showcased this by inviting 2K Games up on the stage, and playing NBK 2K19 on the new iPad Pro. The graphics were absolutely phenomenal, with console-quality visuals.

Now let’s calm down because there probably won’t be many big AAA games releasing on the iPad Pro. But still, this level of performance opens up several new doors for developers to make games for the iPad Pro and I don’t think it will be long till we see games like Grand Theft Auto V on the mobile gaming platform! This new processor can even run desktop apps like Photoshop CC!

The A12X Bionic features a 7-nanometer Manufacturing Process, 7-core GPU, 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Compared to the previous generation, the A12X Bionic is up to 90% faster in Multi-Core Performance, 35% faster in Single-Core Performance and 200% faster in Graphics Performance. The Neural Engine runs 5 trillion operations per second,

A trip down the memory lane reveals a 1000x faster graphics performance improvement from the first iPad! Also, Apple says the A12X Bionic is faster than most PC laptops.

The new iPad Pro has an all-screen display, powered by 120Hz ProMotion technology. Both clock in at 264 PPI with the 12.9-inch model having a 2732×2048 Resolution, while the 11-inch has a 2388×1668 Resolution.

These are IPS Panels with phenomenal color accuracy, P3 Color Gamut, True Tone display, and support for the 2nd generation Apple Pencil.

The True-Depth Camera system is now present on the iPad Pro as well.

Everything else

Cameras have been upgraded with Smart HDR, Portrait Mode, Better Optic Image Stabilization, and 4K 2160p Video Recording. This allows for iPhone XS Class photography, with portrait shots and everything!

The Apple Pencil has been upgraded. It attaches & pairs magnetically with the 2018 iPad Pro. You can change tools with a double tap, the design is more seamless & minimal, and the durability has been highly improved now that it doesn’t charge through the lightning port. Pricing for this accessory is $129.

Connectivity has been changed a lot. The iPad Pro now charges with USB-C, opening up all sorts of connectivity options with cameras, your iPhone (for charging!), MacBook, and other devices. The headphone jack has also been removed, sadly. But Apple’s AirPods are an excellent companion to this iPad, or if you’re looking for something with ANC the Beats Studio 3 are perfect as well.

The Smart Connector has been moved to the back, so the Smart Keyboard now features a full folio based design. Pricing for this accessory is $179 for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro or $199 for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

The new 2018 iPad Pro is an amazing tablet for designers, gamers, photographers, students and even journalists.

It could even be a viable laptop replacement if paired with the Smart Keyboard. Apple has been dominating the tablet industry for several years, and this iPad is absolutely amazing for what it offers.
