Team Bravado win DreamHack India Invitational CS:GO

Team Bravado, the North American Invitees won the DreamHack India Invitational CS:GO Champions Title after beating Team Signify in a Bo3 series with exceptional skills and critical thinking that showed everyone why Team Bravado is one fo the best teams there is.

Team Bravado had earlier gone up against Team Signify in the Upper Bracket, best of 2 games match in the Semi-Finals of CS:GO Invitational Semi-Finals.

1st Game

The match was set up in Dust 2, although unlike their win against Energy previously, Bravado had trouble against Signify. Signify gave a tough fight to Bravado on the map of their choice.

With a win of 16-11, Signify got the home fans riled up. Bravado took the defeat pretty seriously and knew they had they bring their best plays in their next game.

2nd Game

Signify at the CT Side on Mirage with some amazingly critically timed plays thanks to Yb, they managed to have an impressive score of 12-0 at one point against Bravado. Bravado, desperate to break off Signify’s momentum, caught up after the 17th round winning each round.

Signify just managed to take the match into overtime after finally stopping Bravado’s offensive play.

With the entire crowd on their feet, the overtime started off with both teams playing desperately. Signify finally clinched the match against Bravado with the score of 19-17.

Signify, now directly in the Grand Finale, had to play against Bravado, who won against the match against the Lower Bracket winners eNergy, getting themselves a spot in the Final match.

1st Game

The first game whichwhich place in Inferno, picked by Bravado, didn’t go well for them. Signify showed promising plays as they broke through Bravado’s defenses with their best aggressive tactics.

‘Marzil’ was the one name in the Indian fans’ chants, and it was well deserved. He surprised everyone with his utilities including the frags and flashes, killing off members of Bravado and taking out huge chunks of their health.

‘Crazyguy’ and his crazy aggressive awping skills halted most of Bravado’s attacks and even cut through their defenses.

‘Yb’ with his leadership skills and ‘Rite2Ace’ and ‘Deathmaker’ with their extreme rifle and pistol skills, were amazing in their own individual games. Their teamwork needed some workthough. It was recently made, making their teamwork, raw but still impressive.

Up till a score of 3-3, Bravado seemed to have the match in their control, little did they know that Signify is going to go for a 12-win streak to the match point. Game 1 was won by Signify with a score of 16-6.

2nd Game

Bravado had to make some major changes in their playing style and tactics after the results of the first match if they wanted to win a match on a map of Signify’s pick, Train. To everyone’s surprise, Bravado took after Signify’s style of play and gave them a taste of their own medicine, after losing the first few rounds, bringing their A-level aggressive tactics.

‘JT’ and ‘Sonic’ where picking off the entire team of Signify, turning the tables on them very soon. Even Marzil’s earlier impressive gameplay couldn’t beat that of JT and Sonic.

Thanks to ‘Fadey’ creating some solid opportunities, Bravado won some very deciding rounds, bringing the match in their favor. ‘Elusive’ was the support of every player in the Team Bravado, being everywhere he was needed in crucial times.

The captain ‘Detrony’ showed extreme critical thinking capabilities and the way he and their coach ‘T.C’ analyzed Signify’s gameplay and modified their passive style to the one suited against Signify are one of the main reasons why Bravado was able to beat Signify on Train with a Score of 16-11.

3rd Game

Dust2 was the tiebreaker-map to decide the champion of the Major tournament. Signify had earlier beaten Bravado in the same map, making them that much more confident of their victory.

To everyone’s surprise, Bravado completely dominated the entire match, breaking off each attack by Signify on the CT-side, and crushing the defense on the T-side. Winning by a score of 16-3, Bravado earned the title of the Champions of the DreamHack India Invitational CS:GO Major.

Admittingly, Signify put up a tough fight against an International champion roster, definitely making the country’s gaming community proud. Team Bravado took on the challenge head-on, proving their renowned skills to the Indian community. We wish congratulations to both the teams and wish them good luck for their future.
