TaZ is looking to make a new esports organisation. Team Kinguin Ends?

Few months back the CS:GO lineup of Vitrus.pro was disbanded.
Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas , a professional Polish Counter Strike 1.6 and CS:GO player was a part of this longest running CS:GO roster. As of now, he is looking to building a new esports organisation.

TaZ will reportedly make this happen with owner of Kinguin, Viktor Romaniuk Wanli, along with Maciej Sawicki, an esports journalist and co-owner of the media company Foszer Swaicki.

The announcement of the new esports organisation was made during a press conference in Warsaw, Poland. The news was first reported by Wezlo esports. The team at Kinguin is to close off the Fortnite and CS:GO divisions of it. This might be due to their decision in making a new organisation with TaZ.

Team Kinguin and how TaZ contributed to it

For some time now, Team Kinguin has been very successful. Only recently, the CS:GO division of the team won the 17th season of ESL Polish Championships, DreamHack Open Montreal 2018. They even managed to advance to the ESL Pro League. For the past few months, the team was represented by TaZ, Paweł “reatz” Jańczak, Karol “rallen” Rodowicz, Mikołaj “mouza” Karolewski and Jacek “minise” Jeziak.

Even their Fortnite division has performed quite well in the international scene. They managed to earn several hundred thousand zlotys in the past few months. Kinguin was also represented by Dota 2 esports athletes who took part in a number of crucial international tournaments. One of such tournaments is the ESL One Katowice 2018. The extremely successful performance by the League of Legends team in 2016 and 2017 is unforgettable. Not only did they win the ESL Polish Championship, they also were qualifiers in the Challenger Series.

TaZ’s esports organisation and Team Kinguin’s future

With Team Kinguin leaving the international esports scene, a new team might take it’s place. The name of this new esports organisation has been kept a secret as of yet.

The Fortnite and CS:GO divisions of Team Kinguin are said to represent the new esports organisation. Moreover, the League of Legends team, is currently under the name ‘Esports Performance Center’. Though this name is only supposed to last during the duration of Ultraliga.
