Popular Rapper Snoop Dogg has a lot of love for games for a while now and has had some contributions, big or small, to the esports world. He is now trying to get further in the gaming world by kicking off his own esports series, The Gangsta Gaming League. He announced his plans for the esports series yesterday publicly, giving many new and professional esports athletes a new chance to compete against each other.
This new endeavor of Snoop Dogg is also a collaboration with some of his close gaming buddies including Lala, Red Grant, Tripo Loc, Young Sagg and Waniac. The champion of the series gets to take home $11,000 prize money. There will also be a bonus round giving the champ a chance to increase his winnings if he can beat the Boss Dogg himself.
The matches will take begin taking place at Snoop Dogg’s Los Angeles Compound. All of the matches will be live streamed on four channels, across different platforms. Snoop Dogg will personally host the premiere tournament along with comedian Dan Rue. Tune in to the channels on March 14 at 5PM PST or 8PM EST or 5:30AM IST to catch it live. The Channels which are supposed to live stream the matches are mentioned below.

This is one professional sports league that will most definitely allow the use of cannabis, as players compete to get the high score. As Snoop says, “The gaming world is about to be turned upside down.”
Rob Breslau mentioned in his tweet that this is not Snoop Dogg’s first attempt in esports.
