Smite vs Arena of Valor: In this article, we will be comparing two very popular MOBA games in recent times. However, keep in mind that Smite is a PC game, and Arena of Valor is a mobile game. But is one game better than the other at core gameplay? Let’s find out.
Smite is unique in the MOBA genre, as it is the only MOBA game which is played in third person. Smite was developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios.
Smite has some incredible visuals and beautiful looking game environment. It features various Gods from many different Pantheons as playable characters.
Gameplay-wise, Smite is far less complicated than other MOBA games like Dota and HoN. However, since it’s played in third person, it offers a fresh outlook in the MOBA genre which attracts a lot of audience to try the game. It also has some very cool characters which were based on Gods from religions all over the World.
Arena of Valor
Arena of Valor is the international adaptation of ‘Wangzhe Rongyao’, an extremely popular Chinese mobile game. Both the games were developed by Tencent.
Arena of Valor was released in 2016 in Taiwan. Its popularity grew massively each passing day. Tencent slowly started releasing the game in different countries and now its playable all over the World. Arena of Valor is also available on Nintendo Switch now.
Arena of Valor is called the ‘kingpin of pocket gaming’ in the mobile gaming market, and has amassed over 200 million players.
Smite vs Arena of Valor: As you must have guessed, these games are very similar to each other. However, Smite is a PC game, while Arena of Valor is a mobile game.
Hence, gameplay-wise these two titles are quite a bit different, as they have their own flavor. It’s quite clear that both these games are quite good and entertaining, so the only question is: Do you prefer playing on your computer or your mobile.
If you prefer playing on PC, go for Smite. If you are a mobile gamer, go for Arena of Valor. I personally prefer Smite because I’m a PC gamer.
