The PC version of PUBG Lite has been under beta test for a couple of months now. Starting with it’s launch in Thailand, the game is now available in 15+ countries. This includes mostly Asian countries and a few European countries. Although the game started with limited accessibility inside it, the good news is, features from the main PUBG are being available slowly. And now, Sanhok in PUBG Lite is finally playable.
Server maintenance of 23rd May introduced Sanhok in PUBG Lite. Although the game is still under constant development but still making all the 3 maps available in the game might be a clue for the global release?
In their official blog post, developers have said
We are back with the most requested update by players, Sanhok!
Sanhok is the 3rd playable map in the game with a 4×4 km island compared to other 8x8km maps: Erangel and Miramar.
The map is inspired by a wide variety of islands from South East Asia.
We will always do our best to always listen to users’ feedback when servicing PUBG LITE.
Thank you and see you in-game!
PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS LITE
In case you do not know, Sanhok is a much smaller map with full of greenery. Due to its short area, the matches played on this map are generally of shorter duration. But the whole match stays action-packed, unlike a match in Miramar or Erangel where you get enough time to camp. Sanhok is preferred by those players who do not like camping and like to get involved in battles, always. However, there are high grasses and big rocks are available in Sanhok.
Although, there is no official announcement about the global release of the game. But once the developers mentioned that they might be planning for its Steam release. So, it is just the time when we will see the game coming out of beta to be available for download.
