Confused between the ROG Phone 2 and the OnePlus 7T? I’m here to help – it’s actually quite simple to decide and if you’re confused just read on. Here’s a comparison of the ROG Phone 2 and the OnePlus 7T in different aspects to help you decide the phone for you!
Different philosophies
While both the ROG Phone 2 and the OnePlus 7T have the same starting price at 37,999 INR, they’re both built with very different philosophies, for two different people. I’m going to make it clear right out the bat –
The ROG Phone 2 has absolute killer specs. But when you look at it more realistically, it’s really not that impressive for most people, but has some exclusive features that make it an amazing phone for people into mobile gaming, media consumption, or just love kickass battery & overkill specs.
The OnePlus 7T is not built around being a gaming phone and just simply suits more people. It has better cameras and more versatile too with a triple camera system. It has the same Snapdragon 855 Plus. The design is also more minimal and doesn’t the aggressive gamer aesthetics like the ROG Phone 2 does.
If cameras are not a priority, you love overkill specs & best in class battery life, want the headphone jack, and play mobile games a lot, the ROG Phone 2 is perfect. But if you’re a mainstream user, cameras are important, a good battery is plenty for you, don’t care about the headphone jack, prefer more minimal design, then the OnePlus 7T is a better choice.
If that was enough for you to make a decision, good! If you’re still confused and want a more in-depth comparison, read on.
