The rumor follows in the footsteps of the recently datamined Red Dead Redemption 2 PC files from the companion app.
A footage which appears to be that of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC has been leaked online. The video appeared on YouTube briefly and was later removed by the original uploader. The video has since then been preserved and reuploaded. Have a look at the video below.
As we can see, there is a cursor which looks like that on any normal PC. The user then goes to settings, which shows a multitude of PC options like screen type, resolution, refresh rate, FXAA, VSync etc. VSync and FXAA are usually only found as graphics settings for games on PC.
This video further adds to the rumor that Red Dead Redemption 2 might soon be coming to PC. Earlier, files from datamining the companion app pointed that the game indeed might be in development for PC. Further, a listing for RDR 2 on PC was made by a Swedish website, MediaMarkt.

But this footage also has the possibility of being a fake, albeit a good one. Like PCGamer points out, “we don’t really see enough of the graphics settings to compare it with Rockstar’s last PC port, GTA 5. One thing that’s notably missing is post-processing options. It looks like you can turn FXAA on, but there’s no sign of other anti-aliasing techniques, or things like ambient occlusion or anisotropic filtering.”
