EA’s Origin Access premier will give full access to EA’s “frontline” games.
Origin Access Premier was announced at E3 this year, with much fanfare. It is an upgraded version of their Origin Access program, which provides the users access to a catalogue of 122 games. A lot of them are EA games, but there are games from other publishers available as well. Most of these games available are not recent releases, much like Sony’s OS Plus or Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold.
But Origin Access Premier takes it up a notch. With this subscription, you will get everything available with the original Origin Access (now called Basic): Full access to The Vault, and 10% off on all Origin purchases. But what makes it stand out is that you will get early access (five days early) to EA’s upcoming “frontline” titles. You will also get the full game as long as the subscription lasts. Origin Access Basic users will only get a 10 hour free trial of the games.
Here is a list of the new releases that you will be able to play with Origin Access Premier:
EA Sports Madden NFL 19 Hall of Fame Edition (August 2, 2018)
EA Sports FIFA 19 Ultimate Edition (September 20, 2018)
Battlefield V Deluxe Edition (October 11, 2018)
Anthem Legion of Dawn Edition (February 15, 2019)
The Premier subscription will cost you Rs.999 a month or Rs.6,499 for a yearly subscription. The Basic subscription cost remains unchanged. You can get a monthly subscription for Rs.315 or a yearly subscription for Rs.1,990.
Player Network senior vice president Michael Blank said, “Origin Access Premier offers players a wealth of content, including all of EA’s PC games and numerous titles from other publishers in a single membership. As our first-ever subscription service with full access to newly-released EA games, we’re offering players more freedom to play the games they want, anytime they want.”
