PNY has leaked pricing, final specs and new features for their custom PNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti & RTX 2080 XLR8 GPUs. There have been a ton of leaks for the upcoming Turing-based GeForce RTX Series GPUs and this is no small leak either. The leaks come from Reddit and Twitter and have gained insane popularity. Less than 48 hrs are remaining for NVIDIA’s #BeForTheGame event and if all the previous leaks weren’t enough, PNY has another big one for us. Let’s have a look!
RTX 2080 Ti & RTX 2080 Listed on PNY’s Website
PNY listed these pre-order prices for their aftermarket custom PNY models of the RTX 2080 Ti & RTX 2080. Custom AIBs of high-end GPUs can get very expensive, so this is NOT the final pricing of the GeForce RTX Series GPUs. It does give insight into prices for other normal & reference models the RTX Series GPUs though. Considering prices of the above-listed GPUs, I expect the RTX 2080 to be priced near the current prices of the GTX 1080 Ti, which is around the $650 to $750 mark. So, we’re not going to get any drastic price differences just like it has been for several generations.
RTX 2080 Ti & 2080 Final Specifications & Features leaked by PNY – 600% Faster Performance?
Reddit User SassyBlackyChan posted several screenshots which showed the RTX 20 Series GPUs on PNY’s website. Several features and all the specifications have been leaked here. The most striking one is the ‘Up to 6X Faster Performance’, which translates to roughly a 600% performance boost from the GTX 10 Series GPUs. If this is true, we’re looking at a card that allows 4K Gameplay at more than 144FPS. Forget that, we’re entering the 8K Territory with the RTX 20 Series GPUs. Other features include Real-Time Ray Tracing in Games, AI Enhanced Graphics and the NVIDIA Turing Architecture.
As for the leaked specifications, here they are. Previous rumours for the RTX 20 Series GPUs have been matching up so far – we’re looking at 4352/2944 CUDA Cores, 11GB/8GB of GDDR6 Memory on a 352-Bit/267-Bit interface, and new NVLink connectors!
Let’s not get excited because this kind of performance jump in a single generation isn’t that probable but still, if these leaks are true, just wow. Hold your horses for the #BeForTheGame event, it starts in less than 48 hours. Get on the hype train, everyone. What do you think about these new leaks? Let’s discuss in the comments.
