NVIDIA saysthe RTX 2060 will be up to 60% faster on average compared to its predecessor, the GTX 1060. It features GTX 1070 Ti class performance pumped with the new Ray-Tracing & DLSS technologies, previously only present on the high-end RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti GPUs. They claim it will be capable of 60+ FPS Gaming at 1080p with max settings, and deliver great performance at 1440p with high settings. Here’s a performance benchmark by NVIDIA –
In terms of specifications, the RTX 2060 will have 6GB GDDR6 Memory, 240 Tensor Cores, 1920 CUDA Cores, 30 RT Cores, and a GPU Boost Clock up to 1.68GHz. It will be available from many board partners like GIGABYTE, MSI and ASUS at launch, along with a founder’s edition from NVIDIA themselves.
