Battle Warship: Naval Empire a war-themed MMORTS (Massively Multiplayer Online Real-Time Strategy) game, it is similar to games like Clash of Clans, Guns of Glory or Age of Empires. So, if you’ve played games like these before, you’ll be able to maneuver and understand Battle Warship: Naval Empire pretty easily. But, one of the tricky things about this game is to know the order to unlock most of the features. So, follow the tutorial phase closely all the way to you get to Aircraft Carrier Base in your game, only then you will get most of the content unlocked. One of the differences about this game is that, for most MMORTS, you’ll get your resources simply by gathering from resource tiles. However, in this game you’ll mostly gather your resources from attacking Pirates, but, of course you still can gather resources from resource tiles.

Objectives of the game
The main objective of Battle Warship: Naval Empire, like the game title states, building your very own empire, divide and conquer. By upgrading your facilities, you’ll gain power based on your building levels, fleets and aircraft carriers.
Battle Warship: Naval Empire, the progress of your game depends heavily on how you manage your resources. Improve and upgrading all your resource buildings and facilities should be your priority. Upgrading your resources in the early game may seem relatively easy but as you progress in game, you’ll require more resources and resulting in you attacking other play’s base and looting their resources to progress.
Gathering resources for upgrades
There are two main resources in this game –
- Electricity
- Oil
As you go through the tutorial, you’d realize that to upgrade buildings you’ll need to have both electricity and oil. You can upgrade your Oil Rig as well as your power plant to generate and store more resources or you can choose to attack pirates and players to steal their resources.
What are Pirates?
Pirates are enemies that your Fleet can attack for resource farming purposes. Another unique difference about this game as compared to other MMORTS is that, you get Aircraft carriers. Each aircraft carrier has its own equipment customization option, isn’t that cool? Also, to add on, each of the equipment has options to upgrade it. Even though this may seem a little complicated, trust me, you’ll get the hang of it as you progress in game.
Moving forward, when your base reaches Level 7 or 8, you would’ve already unlocked most of the content of the game. Most of your resources will be acquired through attacking pirates, so it’s important to keep your marching queues going.
What are marching queues and what does it do?
Marching queues are essentially the amount of groups of fleet you can send out to gather resources. When
you’re in the early game phase, the game tends to dish out more freebies every time you complete the main quest. With these freebies, you’ll breeze through your upgrades.
However, constant upgrading means that you’ll run out of resources pretty quickly. That does not mean that you’ll be stopping your progress in the game, no. This means to seek alternatives, like protecting your resources to keep them from being taken from other players.
Aircrafts
Aircraft carriers are similar to your fleets, you can send them out to attack pirates and other players. The difference is that Aircraft carriers do not need to be repaired.
Tip: Focus on upgrading your Aircrafts, when you’re done, proceed to attack the strongest pirate you can fight, send your fully enhanced and geared up Aircraft carrier to fight without any accompanying ships. This will
enable you to get free resources and loots from the pirates without the need to sacrifice any of your ships (there, a bunch of resources saved). Why is that? As mentioned above, Aircraft carriers do not require repairs unlike your ships. While you’re at it, do also take the time to research on things that will give you extra boosts for your troops, especially Aircraft carriers. This will allow you to perform all that was mentioned, a whole lot easier.
What do I do with the remaining queues?
Great question. Use them to gather resources. Trick to do this is to use your tier 1s, why? In
the event someone else tries to tile-hit your resource collecting troops, you would cost you
a lot lesser to repair them. But, using higher tier means more loot? No. The only difference
is that higher tiered troops gives you a higher attack rate, but it costs a lot more to repair as
compared to lower tiered ones.
I’m constantly getting attacked, how do I keep my resources safe?
You don’t, in a sense. Most players base do not have a lot of resources, they only gather
when they need it. Even though it might seem ironic, but think of it the other way, other
players can’t take what you don’t have. With that said, this is only applicable for early game,
it’s when you want to progress but you can’t keep up with the attacks on your base.
But as a form of protection, you can build up your Storehouse. It allows a significant amount
of resources to be kept safe from attacks, as you level this facility, the number of resources
free from being plundered gets higher.

How do I deal with loses?
It’s only natural, you’re playing war game where players attack each other in order to
compete and build their own base. If you’re getting destroyed by someone which higher
tiered troops, don’t beat yourself up, you’ll get there. Think about it, someone who sends
higher tiered troops to attack you will end up using more resources repairing than what he or she looted from you, that’s if you managed your resources in your base well. So, in a way the other player lost more than he or she gained.
