Well, before the early draft of first game, everyone on the panel had predicted that it would be an easy win for OG against MVP.Ph. And why not, OG was on the high, they were even the favourites to win The Manila Major entirely
The first game was all comfort picks for MVP.Ph. QO on Phantom Assassin, Dubu on his Spirit Breaker, MP Void pick was a little questionable as they were playing 5 meele lineup. OG had a really good early game where Miracle’s Timbersaw just ran rampant over MVP.Ph and the game looked all but over. But one huge fight from MVP where MP found a 3 man chrono along with 3 man vacuum wall from Forev changed the momentum, and QO also got fat and started dealing heavy damage and that was a little too much to handle as QO just got out of control.
MVP.Ph 1-0 OG
Game 2 saw the return of miracle OD and the support Naga played by Crit in response to the Void pickup for Forev. The game was pretty disastrous for MVP as they never really found any big ganks into objectives. Forev had a really rough game blowing a couple of chronospheres, and whenever he hit the chrono, Crit would start the song of siren and ruin the party for Forev. Despite shutting down Notail for a while, Miracle’s OD was too monstrous.
MVP.Ph 1-1 OG
Game 3 was exact opposite of game 2. This time MVP got their hands on QO Phantom Assassin and Forev Axe. Coupled with Dubu’s excellent performance on Shadow Demon, MVP just ran over OG. Despite getting some comfort picks like Moon’s Void, Miracle’s Tinker, Notail Sven and most importantly Crit got his signature Elder Titan. It almost seemed impossible for OG to falter this game up. OG showed some signs of agression in early game, but once the Forev agression started, there was hardly anything they could do. Forev and dubu kept the agression going and they did not give any room for Sven and Tinker to farm owing which they lost the decider game making the series 2-1 in favour of the Koreans.
