A mass shooting at the Madden 19 tournament in Florida killed three and injured 9.
A mass shooting has left three dead, including the shooter. The shooting occurred at the Madden 19 tournament which was taking place at the GLHF Game Bar in Jacksonville, Florida. There were nine other victims with gunshot wounds and two with other injuries sustained while fleeing the scene, the Sheriff reported.
Authorities believe the shooter to be David Katz, 24, who was also a competitor at the tournament. He goes by the in game name of “Bread”. The investigations are still ongoing regarding his motives. The shooter killed himself after the shooting at the scene.

EA, the creators of Madden 19, have released a statement regarding the shooting
The suspect was a known gamer and had won the Madden Bills Championship in 2017. The suspect was reportedly disqualified from Sunday’s tournament, but the authorities have not confirmed it yet.
Dirni Gjoka, who plays for CompLexity Gaming was also participating in the tournament.
President Trump has been informed of the situation as well.
