Remember the Logitech MX518? It has been one of the best selling gaming mice of all time, with Logitech reporting that it sold around 16.4 million units in its lifetime.
Logitech has recently refreshed the MX518 with new advancements like the HERO 16K Sensor, a 32-bit ARM processor, and some updated materials. Logitech says the new sensor is capable of 400+ IPS Tracking Speeds, with up to 16000 DPI and zero acceleration, filtering or smoothing.
It’s now called the Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse. The mouse has a total of 8 programmable buttons, and on the fly DPI switching. Using the Logitech Gaming Software, the user can customize the buttons, DPI, put macros, and switch between profiles.
The mouse weighs 101 grams, and retains the original shape and feel. It’s great to see Logitech breathing new life into the classic, legendary mouse that people loved. Pre-orders have also begun, and the mouse is priced at $59.99 USD.
