HoN vs Strife: In this article, we will be comparing two very popular MOBA games of all time. Both the games are considered very addictive, but they are also considered very rewarding by certain audiences. However, HoN and Strife both offer a different variety of truly enjoyable experiences, and in this article, we will be comparing these 2 games.
Heroes of Newerth

Heroes of Newerth is a MOBA game developed by S2 Games. It is published by Frostburn Studios. HoN was inspired by Dota 1 and it tried its best to stay true to the original content. The game was released on May 12, 2010, and re-released as a free-to-play game on July 29, 2011.
Heroes of Newerth is just as punishing and competitive as Dota 2. Before Dota 2 was released, many Dota 1 players had transitioned to HoN. But after the release of Dota 2, many players moved away from HoN, because Valve got in IceFrog.
Strife

Strife was developed by the creators of Heroes of Newerth, S2 Games. Strife was created primarily for the casual player-base of the MOBA genre. Many gameplay elements were introduced in the game with the primary motive of reducing toxicity. There were also a lot of elements that focused on activity out of a match, like Pets and Crafting.
Strife was announced on August 8, 2013 and it had been in development for 2 years. On February 22, 2014, Strife went in closed beta, and on August 29, 2014 Strife went in open beta. On May 22, 2015 Strife was released as a free-to-play on Steam.
Conclusion
HoN vs Strife: Both HoN and Strife are incredible games. I think you should give them both a try. However, personally I am a huge HoN fan, and I think hardcore gamers would like HoN better than Strife.
