Yes, you heard it correct. Fortnite India servers are happening! The leak comes from Msytxc FNBR Leaks on Twitter. Msytxc has a record for pretty accurate leaks so this leak is quite believable. In the leak, we see new servers for many other countries so it’s a big thing for everyone, including the Fortnite India community.

In the tweet, there’s data for a list of Public and Beta servers for Fortnite. Take a closer look at the Beta servers list, towards the center. It says (“MMRegion”, “tg_mumbai”, “tg_mumbai”) which means there’s going to be a server for Fortnite: Battle Royale in India.

According to this leak, all these places will be getting Fortnite servers if they don’t already have any.
What this means for players
Fortnite has players from all over the world, in big amounts. Epic Games is making a great decision to launch servers not only in India but in other countries. Lagging is a big problem for people who don’t have game servers near them. Fortnite has a pretty decent netcode so players don’t struggle that much, but PUBG’s netcode is way worse and there’s a ton of networking issues for many players, especially in India. The problems are not as prevalent in Fortnite because of the game having a better netcode compared to PUBG, but they’re still there. The launch of Fortnite servers in India is a big thing for the Fortnite India community and will allow players to not have their skills limited because of networking issues, like PUBG.
