June is and has always been a great month for gamers, developers, and publishers as it is the month where brand new anticipated video game titles get revealed. Of course this goes without saying that the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 is the biggest attraction of the month since it is at this event that most publishers announce their upcoming games. However, we should not completely forget about Electronic Arts’ very own event, i.e, EA Play. The company has revealed their EA Play 2019 Livestream schedule along with information as to what exactly do we get to see at the event.
EA has revealed the schedule on their official website and here are the timings with respect to Indian Standard Time (IST) –
June 8 –
09:45 PM – Countdown to EA Play
10:00 PM – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, to be hosted by online personalities Greg Miller and Andrea Rene
10:30 PM – Apex Legends, to be hosted by commentator Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez
11:00 PM – Battlefield V, to be hosted by online personality Julia Hardy and EA’s Adam Freeman
11:30 PM – EA Sports FIFA, to be hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez
June 9 –

12:30 AM – The Sims 4, to be hosted by Andrea Rene
We can watch the EA Play 2019 Livestream on EA’s Youtube channel, Twitch channel, as well as their official website.
As we can see from the official schedule, EA did not mention any placeholder name for any of their upcoming games. This means we should probably we ready for the possibility that EA Play 2019 will not have any new video game title reveal happening. In that case, I guess the biggest attraction of the event will be Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order since we do not know much about it. It is expected that EA will showcase a gameplay video explaining what exactly the game has to offer. As for Apex Legends, Battlefield V, and The Sims 4, we can expect the announcement of additional content regarding these games.
Apart from the livestream schedule, here’s what EA has to say for their upcoming EA Play event –
“Try to score a touchdown via The JuJu Smith-Schuster Fan Experience
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order theater experience
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order photo opportunity
Merchandise booth with brand-new Apex Legends gear for sale
Custom EA Sports FIFA soccer pitch
And more !”
They also said, “For all EA PLAY content throughout the weekend, including exclusive gameplay reveals, trailers and breaking news, be sure to stay locked to EA.com.”
The actual event will take place at the Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, therefore, we have to keep our eyes peeled for the livestream. And since the EA Play 2019 Livestream schedule is already mentioned here, I guess it won’t be that hard to take care of all our other tasks beforehand and tune in for the event.
