E3 Day 2 was LIT!
This year’s E3 was much awaited. And the tradition of info on unreleased games being leaked was upheld this year as well, but yesterday’s press conference, E3 day 2, managed to surprise us all. There were many premiers, and a lot of them were quite unexpected. Microsoft and Bethesda held their longest E3 conferences yesterday, so we will just be talking about the biggest reveals in our E3 Day 2 highlights.
Cuphead: Cuphead is getting a new DLC, The Delicious Last Course, which will be released in 2019. There will be a new character in this DLC called Ms. Chalice, and new bosses.
Crackdown 3: It’s Terry Crews, baby! The latest version of crackdown was announced, with Terry Crews’ character. To me the graphics seemed subpar, but hey, it’s Terry Crews. The game has been delayed and is scheduled to arrive in February 2019.
Fallout 76: We finally saw a gameplay trailer of Fallout 76. It was also revealed the game will have a co-op multiplayer mode and the map will be four times as big as Fallout 4. Pre-orders begin on June 15.
Kingdom Hearts III: We finally have it. Kingdom Hearts III is here, and it will feature characters from Frozen and Wreck-It-Ralph. It looks good, just watch the trailer. The game will launch on January 29th.
Just Cause 4: Rico is back, and with a lot of explosions, and a really crazy trailer.
Halo Infinite: It’s been a long time since we last saw Master Chief, three years to be exact. Microsoft showed off the Slipstream engine for most part of the trailer, but it looks amazing.
Gears Of War: It was about time a new Gears of War was announced, and we got not one, but three. Gears 5, the new game in the canon, will focus on Kait, as she embarks on a Journey to find the answers to the strange visions she’s been having. Gears 5 will release in 2019.
There will also be a mobile gears game, called Gears Pop as well as a strategy spin off titled Gears Tactics.
Devil May Cry V: Nero returns in the new Devil May Cry. The game will be directed by Hideaki Itsuno who also directed Devil May Cry 3. As expected, the trailer is over the top with a lot of flair.
Cyberpunk 2077: So here it is, we finally see what the game looks like. Microsoft saved the best for the last, and rightly so. The game shows an amazing and futuristic Night City, with a lot of colourful elements. The releases date has not been announced as of yet, but don’t expect it to be anytime soon.
Bethesda announced a couple of DLCs for Prey and Elder Scrolls Online, but all of it faded in front of their new releases. Todd Howard took the stage and weaved total magic.
Doom Eternal: The sequel to Doom was announced with “twice as many badass demons” and Doom Slayer being even powerful.
Rage 2: We finally got a look at Rage 2, and it looks as chaotic and as insane as ever. The trailer promises wide open world, insane action and big ass guns.
Starfield: We only got a small teaser of the game. All we know is it is a next generation single player game set in space, and is Bethesda’s first original franchise in 25 years.
The Elder Scrolls VI: Literal Goosebumps! Nee I say anything more? Bethesda just hit the ball out of the park with this announcement.
