Dauntless has finally arrived as an Epic Games Store exclusive

Heavily inspired by Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, Phoenix Lab’s Dauntless is now finally out of beta after a long 2 years. Based on a fantasy setting, Dauntless is a monster hunter game, where you play as a monster slayer. Killing the monsters to help humanity to survive is your key role.

First revealed during the Game Awards in December 2016, Dauntless got a good response from the community. The game started as a beta in April 2017 and finally, it arrived on the Epic Games Store on May 21st, 2019.

The Epic Games store description says,

Battle for survival at the edge of the world. As a Slayer, it’s up to you to hunt down the boss-sized Behemoths that are devouring the land. Team up with millions of players as you master challenging co-op battles, craft deadly weapons and powerful armor, and forge your legend as a Slayer of Ramsgate.

Dauntless is a free-to-play online action RPG from Phoenix Labs. Look forward to regular updates, seasonal events, new Behemoths, and more in a rich, evolving world.

The game features a vibrant and beautiful fantasy world. You start at Ramsgate, a type of locality, from where you choose your missions of hunting down large monsters. You’ll be amazed by the colorful, beautiful and smooth gameplay. At the start of the game, you’ll also get the option to customize your character. As you progress with the monster hunting, you’ll unlock different types of things to make your character stronger. The game also features the cross-platform facility, so you may often get matched with the players from the other platform.
