The Corsair SPEC Omega RGB Gaming Case features front & side tempered glass panels, beautiful RGB Lighting controllable through the iCUE Software, and room for upto six fans. It’s available in two variants – black & white. Here’s our review on it.
Price & Where to buy
The CORSAIR SPEC Omega RGB Gaming Case costs around 12,500 INR and is available on sites like MDComputers and VedantComputers. Availability seems to be quite low for this case on online portals, but you should be able to find it in many local shops.
In the US, it’s available for around $150 USD on sites like Amazon & NewEgg.
The CORSAIR SPEC Omega RGB Gaming Case features a steel material and is very well built. The front features an asymmetrical & angular design and a RGB Lighting LED Strip. It has full support for all ATX/Micro ATX/Mini ITX Motherboards. There’s also a power supply shroud present.
The case has support for upto 360mm radiators, 370mm long GPUs, and a maximum CPU Cooler height of 170mm. There are 2x 3.5-inch and 3x 2.5-inch drive bays, and 7 case expansion slots. Adequate enough for a mid to high end gaming rig, but those who want more drive bays should look for a bigger, full tower case.
Corsair says the SPEC Omega RGB has a ‘Direct Airflow Path’ layout. While temperatures looked good, the front panel’s structure could be limiting the airflow on this case. There is support for three 120mm fans in the front, two at the top, and one at the back. There are two high performance CORSAIR HD120 High Performance 120mm RGB Fans included in this case. These also feature some spectacular looking RGB Lighting effects, but more on that later.
There are a ton of cable management options available in this case, so it’s not going to be something you’ll have to worry about. When we built a system inside this case, the included CORSAIR Lighting Node PRO and a RGB LED Strip meant there were a few more connectors to worry about. But in the end our final build had clean overall aesthetics, looked great, and we had no problems building a high-end GTX 1080 Ti class system in the SPEC Omega RGB Gaming Case.
By using Corsair iCUE Software, the RGB Lighting on the SPEC Omega RGB Case can be customized to your preferences. There are various built-in lighting profiles present in the software. You can make custom profiles, and even sync it up with other Corsair RGB Peripherals like their keyboards, mice and headphones.
The Corsair SPEC Omega RGB Gaming Case is quite expensive, but the included fans & Node Pro RGB Lighting Connector do make up for it. It has great build quality, beautiful aeshetics, and great cable management options. If you have other Corsair products with RGB Lighting, this is the perfect case to buy. Final Score: 3.9/5
Included CORSAIR Lighting Node Pro RGB Lighting Controller and 2x HD120 High Performance 120mm Fans
