After a month of the initial soft launch in India and Australia, Call of Duty Mobile update v1.0.2 is now available. Although this update brings no big changes, it does bring a few much needed features. Yesterday, the game servers were under maintenance for a couple of hours and after the that the Call of Duty Mobile update arrived. So, what’s new? let’s take a look at that!
According to the official discord server of Call of Duty mobile the new patch includes the following,
Anti-Aliasing enabled
Enabled binding of Guest account to Facebook
Optimized video performance
Optimized Battle Royale map loading
Optimized Battle Royale sound effects
Adjusted effective rates of consumables in Battle Royale
Adjusted the drop rates of found weapons in Battle Royale
Fixed gyroscope bug affecting some devices
Fixed grenade throwing while ADS
Fixed looping helicopter sound
Fixed an issue that affected fall damage
Various other fixes
So, after reading the patch notes, we can see that the new Call of Duty Mobile update v1.0.2 is more like a small optimization update. As the game is still in the beta, many updates like this will be necessary before the game’s global release. After it’s release in India and Australia, the game is already giving a tough competition to PUBG Mobile. But time will tell if Call of Duty Mobile can actually remove PUBG Mobile from its throne.
However, Call of Duty Mobile update v1.0.2 put water on the hopes of bringing the game available to iOS users. Many of the Call of Duty fans on iOS hoped that the update might make the game available on their device. But, alas! it was just a small fix to the existing game.
