Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Beta: Can you run it?

The system requirements for Black Ops 4 Beta have been released.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta is almost here. The Open Beta will start on August 11. 10:30 pm IST and will end on August 13, 10:30 pm IST. For those of you who have pre-ordered the game, you will have access to the beta a full day before the open beta; on August 10, 10:30 pm IST.

The system requirements for the Black Ops 4 Beta test have been released. But first things first. You will need to redeem the beta code and for that you will need to have a Battle.net account. You will also need to download the client as Black Ops 4 will not be available on steam. Now the system requirements:

Minimum:

• OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
• CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k or AMD equivalent
• RAM: 8GB RAM
• HDD: 25GB HD space
• Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB / GTX 1050 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850
• DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
• Network: Broadband Internet connection
• Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

• RAM: 12GB RAM
• HDD: 25GB HD space
• Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580
• DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
• Network: Broadband Internet connection

• Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Since the game is still in Beta, the requirements might change further down the line

Black Ops 4 Beta will have six modes, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. The Beta will also have six maps Frequency, Contraband, Seaside, Payload, Hacienda and Gridlock. Out of these, Hacienda and Gridlock have still not been shown.

Treyarch also says that they are “eager to hear the feedback”. To that end, at the conclusion of the PC Beta, a survey will be emailed to a group of participants. “We encourage you to respond honestly with your experiences. But if you just want to play, that’s cool too,” they say.
