Burnout Paradise Remastered vs Split/Second: In this article, we will be comparing two very popular Racing games. However, Split/Second is fighting a really tough opponent here, as we all know how popular Burnout Paradise Remastered is. But is Burnout Paradise Remastered better than Split/Second at gameplay? Let’s find out.
Burnout Paradise Remastered
Burnout Paradise is an open world racing video game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts.
It was also released on the PlayStation Store and via Xbox Live Marketplace’s Games on Demand. It was later added to the libraries of Greatest Hits and Platinum Hits titles and was made backward compatible with the Xbox One in November 2016. It is also the first game in the Burnout series to be released on Microsoft Windows.
Split/Second
Split/Second is an arcade racing video game, released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It was developed by Black Rock Studio and published by Disney Interactive Studios.
In Split/Second, players take part in a fictional reality TV program where participants race for money and glory. Throughout a race, players can build up their “power play” meter by performing stunts, such as jumps and mid-air overtakes, and precision driving, such as drafting opponents and drifting. This is the major part of the gameplay.
Conclusion
Burnout Paradise Remastered vs Split/Second: Even though both Burnout Paradise Remastered and Split/Second are both from the same genre and series, they feel like two completely different games. Both the games are amazing and it is very hard to choose among them.
Personally, I prefer Burnout Paradise Remastered over Split/Second because I prefer that game and I have put in a lot of hours into it. However, gameplay-wise, both the games offer an equal amount of entertainment value. However, if you haven’t played games, I suggest you to try Burnout Paradise Remastered.
