However, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is fighting a really tough opponent here, as we all know how popular Burnout Paradise Remastered is. But is Burnout Paradise Remastered better than Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit at gameplay? Let’s find out.
Burnout Paradise Remastered
It was also released on the PlayStation Store and via Xbox Live Marketplace’s Games on Demand. It was later added to the libraries of Greatest Hits and Platinum Hits titles and was made backward compatible with the Xbox One in November 2016. It is also the first game in the Burnout series to be released on Microsoft Windows.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
Hot Pursuit goes back to the Need for Speed series’ roots and takes on the gameplay style of earlier Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 titles in the Need for Speed franchise with exotic cars and high-speed police chases.
Hot Pursuit lets players be either a racer or a police driver, and features a full career mode for both roles. The relationship between the cops and racers is described as “a dog chasing down a rabbit”; the police being more powerful while the racers are faster.
Conclusion
Burnout Paradise Remastered vs Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit: Even though both Burnout Paradise Remastered and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit are both from the same genre and series, they feel like two completely different games. Both the games are amazing and it is very hard to choose among them.
Personally, I prefer Burnout Paradise Remastered over Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit because I prefer that game and I have put in a lot of hours into it. However, gameplay-wise, both the games offer an equal amount of entertainment value. However, if you haven’t played games, I suggest you to try Burnout Paradise Remastered.
