BlueStacks 4 was unveiled back in September 2018, with many marginal improvements over their last iteration of BlueStacks 3. Here’s how BlueStacks 4 isn’t just the best mobile gaming platform, but even more.
Built for Gaming and beyond – closing the gap between mobiles and PC applications
BlueStacks has always been about bringing Android emulation for Windows & macOS. It has streamlined the Android, Windows and macOS Operating System platforms.
You could download almost every android application on BlueStacks – Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp, and everything else. While the actual use of these apps might be varied because Windows-based iterations of these platforms are already present, mobile gamers will absolutely love BlueStacks 4.
It’s also very simple to start using. Just go to the website, download the app, follow simple steps to install it, sign in with your account, and then you’ll be able to install apps & games from the Play Store. The user is simple & easy to use, but slowdowns are present in some scenarios. Also, random advertisements & promotions do annoy you sometimes.
We’ll talk about that more in a second, but the point is, it closes the gap between Android & Windows/macOS Applications, making BlueStacks an extremely versatile android emulation platform for Windows & macOS users.
Up to 6x Faster Performance compared to Flagship Smartphones
Smartphones & Tablets have gotten devilishly fast. So much that Apple’s new iPad Pro with the A12X Bionic supposedly beats next-gen consoles! Flagship CPUs from Apple & Qualcomm have been really great performers. But, gaming on phones drains the battery, is not that stable, and not everyone is able to buy flagship phones costing over a thousand dollars these days.
BlueStacks solves all these problems, by emulating the game on an actual PC. This way, games will always have much faster performance, higher stability and no worry about battery life.
It’s still emulation so the computer’s resources are not used as efficiently as compared to dedicated apps. In a few games (for instance, PUBG Mobile) it requires optimisation of the engine settings for decent performance, otherwise it doesn’t work well at all.
But still, the performance was great in most scenarios. They claim a decent gaming computer running BlueStacks 4 has 6x Faster Performance compared to Flagship Smartphones!
There is also the option for Multi-Instance. It allows you to run multiple apps & games, from multiple Google Play Accounts! This level of versatility is really helpful for gamers and unlocks the potential of getting rewards, XP or other in-game rewards.
Much better controls & intuitive key mapping
There’s no argument here – playing with a mouse and keyboard is far more superior to playing on smartphones with your thumb. It’s just much more comfortable, allows for better accuracy & precision, and opens up many new ways for key mapping.
With BlueStacks 4, you can set up controls for individual games with different profiles on the Game Controls Window. There are preset default controls made by the BlueStacks team specifically for many popular games, but you also have the option to create new profiles depending on your preferences.
The end result is near flawless – controls are very smooth and feel great. While some games might not have the best controls, and it’s not always as polished as expected, overall it feels much better & comfortable compared to the mobile platform.
Playing on BlueStacks rewards you – Affiliate Program, SuperFan and Worlds Quest
With the affiliate program, streamers & content creators can earn by playing games and affiliating with BlueStacks for their content. The SuperFan program rewards you for being an avid fan and competing with others. In the Worlds Quest, you complete specific achievements in games to win exciting prizes.
So, BlueStacks awards you for playing games on the platform. It’s a great way for people getting into the gaming industry to earn money for their content, along with avid gamers.
All this makes BlueStacks 4 the ultimate mobile gaming platform for Windows & Mac Computers. We’ll be writing more on details for the Affiliate Program, SuperFan, Worlds Quest and a History of BlueStacks. Stay tuned for it!
