Buying a gaming mouse can be a bit of a hassle considering there are numerous options in the market. We did the research, tested out various gaming mice, and made the decision easy for gamers! Here’s a buyer’s guide to the best gaming mouse to buy for every budget.
Budget (Under 2500 INR)
Logitech G102 Optical Gaming Mouse
Price – Around 1500 INR

Starting with the most inexpensive gaming mouse on this list, the Logitech G102 is easily the best budget gaming mouse to buy. This mouse is the minimum any gamer should buy if they’re in the market for a gaming mouse. Anything less, and the only thing you’d be paying for would be mere aesthetics.
The Logitech G102 has great value for money for everything that it offers and is a very popular choice among many budget gamers. The sensor is really good with support for up to 8000 DPI, 1ms report rate and it doesn’t have any problem with flicks or other fast hand movements.
Design-wise it’s a very ergonomic mouse, decently comfortable to hold and follows the classic G100 shape. For aesthetics, it also has 16.8M Color RGB Lighting. Two extra buttons are also present, remappable to any keyboard/macro action. All this is customizable through the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

Logitech G300s Optical Gaming Mouse
Price – Around 1700 INR

The Logitech G300s is the next one on our list and this mouse is great for MOBA & MMO Games like Dota 2, League Of Legends, and World of Warcraft where a high number of mouse buttons is quite useful for assigning in-game actions.
This mouse has 6 extra buttons customizable through the Logitech Gaming Sofware (LGS), which you can program to keyboard keys, macros or even multiple actions at once. The shape is incredibly ambidextrous and has a ton of grip on the sides. There’s lighting on the sides with up to seven colour variations, also customizable with LGS.
The sensor isn’t up to the par on the G300s, with a max DPI of 2500. It’s still very good for FPS Gaming having the same 1ms report rate as the G102, but it’s really intended towards MOBA & MMO Gamers of which the sensor of a gaming mouse isn’t a primary concern.

Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Ultra Fast FPS Gaming Mouse
Price – Around 2200 INR

The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is an amazing mouse for FPS Gaming, with its Fusion Engine for high-speed tracking up to 500 IPS powered by a 32-bit ARM Processor also used for saving profiles. It’s intended only for right-handed users, following the classic G400s shape.
The mouse is very comfortable to hold with great materials & rubber grips around the side. It has 5 extra buttons, for things like quickly selecting grenades or certain equipment making it a versatile choice for all gamers but excelling at FPS Gaming, as the name suggests. The sensor is really good on the Logitech G402 with its Fusion Engine, that uses Logitech’s Delta Zero tech for tracking speeds upwards of 500 IPS, has up to 4000 DPI and a 1ms report rate.
The weight is a bit on the higher side at 108 grams, and it might not be suitable for wide & large hands because of the button positioning. In that case, consider the SteelSeries Rival 110 which has a light-weight design but the sensor and overall build of that mouse is not as good as the Logitech G402.

Mid-range (Under 5000 INR)
Logitech G603 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse
Price – Around 5000 INR

The Logitech G603 is a wireless gaming mouse – I know you might have your doubts with this because in intense moments you cannot afford delayed movements or any latency, but this mouse features Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED Wireless Technology. After using the G603 for quite some time, I’m confident in saying that it works quite reliably.
It also comes with the new next generation HERO Gaming Sensor from Logitech. This features up to 10x higher power efficiency compared to previous top-grade gaming sensors, with even better performance.
Battery Life is also exceptional on the Logitech G603. It lasts up to 18 months depending on your use. The mouse has two power management modes – one is a HI Mode that sets the HERO Sensor at its peak performance with 1ms report rates, and the other is a LO Mode for normal use that takes it down to 8ms. Even at the highest mode, the mouse can last 500 hours.
The design is incredibly minimal with no RGB Lighting present, but that does help battery life. The shape is similar to the G403 and it’s comfortable to use, but I would’ve preferred to see rubberized grips at this price point.

The buttons have mechanical tensioning which reduces response time and improves consistency. It has two extra buttons on the side, again remappable to various keyboard actions.
It also features on-board memory making it easy to save your settings in the Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) and then taking them everywhere. LGS is also where you customize a lot of these things present on the mouse, including the sweet LIGHTSYNC RGB Lighting.
