PlayerUnknown tweeted a model picture of an Auto, or Tuk-Tuk as it is commonly called in western countries. It will be an exclusive vehicle for the upcoming map, Sanhok.
PUBG has been making quite a lot of improvements since the past few months. It can be owed to the fact that Fortnite snatched the crown of King of Battle Royales from PUBG, and now they want to get it back. One of the ways PUBG is doing that is by releasing more content for the game, which includes a new map, Sanhok. I had the chance to play the map during the first round of testing on the experimental server, back when it was known as Codename: Savage. Since then there have been quite a lot of changes to the map with each new round of testing, including an underground cave system. But the change that most of us are looking forward to, is perhaps the addition of Auto (Tuk-Tuk) as a vehicle in the game. Who hasn’t fantasised about going on a murderous rampage in s three-wheeler while on a vacation in Southeast Asia?
PlayerUnknown yesterday himself tweeted a model picture of an Auto, or Tuk-Tuk as they are known in the western countries.
The plan to include it was made earlier in a post, as well in yesterday’s Dev letter posted on Steam. The letter clarifies that Tuk-Tuk will be an exclusive vehicle for the Southeast Asia inspired map. The letter also informs that Sanhok will host exclusive weapons as well. But these will be added after the map goes live. The map will go live on the servers before the end of June, and the Auto and weapons will be added a month after that. The letter does not say if we will see the addition during the next test cycle.
“The team is focused on making literally every inch of Sanhok perfect for players, whether it’s the texture on a rock wall or little unique trimmings around each of the islands houses. Every detail matters, and the team is eager to get feedback from you guys during the latest test,” they said.
